As a general rule, most students commence at our school at the beginning of the year as it reduces stress on the child and aids in a more seamless transition. There are, of course, some exceptions such as interstate transfers or families that have moved.

For our Reception students, we offer two Reception intakes per school year, at the start of the school year and an additional mid-year intake.

• Reception children will be eligible to commence school at the beginning of the year in Term 1 if they turn 5 years of age on or before 30 April in that year.
• Reception students may also be eligible to commence school in Term 3 if they turn 5 before 31 October of that year. Children who turn 5 years of age after 31 October will commence Reception at the beginning of the following year. Children commencing in Term 3 will have a minimum of 6 terms in Reception.
