Faith & Spirituality

Faith at Saint David's

Faith is one of the cornerstones of our school.

At Saint David’s, our Religious Education Program is set up to support parents raising their children in the Catholic Faith or for families wanting to share an environment of strong family values with a warm community feel.

Celebration is a key focus of our Religious Education Program and so Masses, prayer services and assemblies are held regularly to enrich the children’s appreciation of their faith. Children in Years R-6 attend regular Masses at the local Parish Church and all classes are given the opportunity to lead Masses throughout the year.

Sacramental Program

Our family-centred, Parish-based, Sacramental Program is supported by the school and is designed to prepare our students to celebrate the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Communion. Sacraments are considered sacred  events which further strengthen the connection to faith and serve as a reminder of the valued role of the community in the spiritual journey.

The Sacramental Program is offered to students who are baptised in the Catholic Faith. Any parents seeking Baptism for their child are advised to contact the Pastoral Associate or Parish Priest.
